Description After completing an almost five months mission to the International Space Station, three members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 discussed their science mission during a news conference Aug. 20 at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers as well as JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi answered media questions about their mission aboard the space station and their return to Earth. The three crew members, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov returned aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft Aug. 9. Crew 10’s mission was a long-duration mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory in order to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration flights as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
