An author, journalist and environmental activist, Mark Lynas recently made headlines for his changed stance on GMO technology. In addition to publishing several well-respected books on climate change, Mr. Lynas has long been known as an organizer and passionate defender of the anti-GMO food movement.
In January 2013, Mr. Lynas took the stage at the Oxford Farming Conference and announced that he had changed his views after reviewing scientific evidence from both sides, concluding that he "was completely wrong to oppose GMOs."
