Summary
Africa Screams is a 1949 American adventure comedy film starring Abbott and Costello and directed by Charles Barton that parodied the safari genre. The title is a play on the title of the 1930 documentary Africa Speaks!. The film entered public domain in the 1970s as a result of the original copyright holder's failure to renew the film's copyright. It has since been released dozens of times over the years in DVD by various public domain companies.
