Summary
| Description | (Critical) This module, one of a series on the Denar system, demonstrates manipulation of the articulator for various excursive movements. To facilitate use of the instrument to its maximum advantage, the program depicts the proper method of stabilizing the instrument and how pressure to move it through preset micrometer settings is applied. The correlation of anatomic movement with specific adjustment settings is photographically well-documented. An explanation of the effects of condyle controls on occlusal morphology and of condylar movement on tooth form would illustrate the clinical importance of the routine and aid in comprehension of the material. The material serves appropriately as an adjunct to further instruction, but elaboration, particularly regarding occlusal morphology, is required for independent use. This item is recommended for use. |
