Summary
The Library of Congress has collaborated with two expert speakers to help provide further information about COVID-19 associated brain disturbances and their genesis. Although the long-term impacts of COVID-19 are still being studied, ongoing research by some of the world's leading clinicians and scientists has uncovered new insights about the neurological effects of the virus on survivors. Current findings suggest some of the cognitive and behavioral consequences of COVID-19 may include worsened depression and anxiety, alongside other chronic and psychiatric complications.
