| Description | This 1975 program is a lecture by LTC MC Carl J. Battaglia recorded at the 24th Annual Armed Forces Seminar on Obstetrics and Gynecology. According to Colenol Battaglia, studies have shown that the use of bupivacaine has significantly reduced the pain of contractions during labor. Most of the hospitals in question have moderate resources, so the presenter attributes the success of bupivacaine to the drug and not outside sources.
