Summary

Description B-roll for media and public use. NASA’s Europa Clipper mission, scheduled to launch in October 2024, will conduct a detailed survey of Jupiter’s moon Europa to determine whether the icy moon could harbor conditions suitable for life. This reel includes clips showing the assembly and integration of various parts of the spacecraft within a clean room at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The spacecraft, in orbit around Jupiter, will perform dozens of close flybys of Europa, soaring over a different location with each pass so that it eventually scans nearly the entire moon. Europa Clipper will launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. For more information on the mission go to: https://europa.nasa.gov/ Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
