| Description | Expedition 56-57 Soyuz Commander Sergey Prokopyev of Roscosmos and Flight Engineers Serena Aunon-Chancellor of NASA and Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency launched on the Russian Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft on June 6 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to begin a two-day journey to the International Space Station and the start of a six and a half month mission on the outpost. The footage also contains the crew’s pre-launch activities that included their departure from their Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters, their suit-up in the Cosmodrome’s Integration Facility, walk out to their crew bus and arrival at the launch pad to board their spacecraft.
