Summary

Description (Critical) This program presents accepted principles of unloading pressure from intervertebral structures. It demonstrates the need to achieve negative pressure at the level of the intervertebral disk and a relatively simple technique for doing so. The technique presented is applicable to many patients. The information is factual, based on experimental data and presented in a logical sequence. The program should be used with an introduction on spinal column pathology includingthe disk and adjacent neurological structures. For other than a well-informed audience, a discussion of contraindications and side effects is needed.
