Summary
Teams from NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) Program conducted a hot fire test of the Artemis I core stage on Jan. 16 at NASA’s Stennis Space Center. All four RS-25 engines ignited successfully, but the test was stopped early after about a minute of hot fire. At that point, the test was fully automated and the onboard software acted appropriately to initiate a safe shutdown of the engines. The following footage includes footage of the B-2 Test Stand at Stennis, as well as full-duration footage of the SLS hot fire test on Jan. 16 from five different angles, including a drone camera, field camera, and three on-stand cameras.
