| Description | A hungry grey heron (Ardea cinerea) that never misses with her lightning fast beak. A lethal strike and then "down the hatch". Aran has a large heronry and plenty of food it seems to sustain it. The three Aran Islands in County Galway, Ireland, are a mecca for birdwatchers. This video was shot near Kilronan on the big island. Filmed with a Panasonic HDC-SD900 on the Evening of 11th October 2013. |
