Summary
| Description | Histocompatibility is the property of having either the same or similar alleles of a set of genes called human leukocyte antigens (or HLA). This video introduces a panel of doctors, all of whom have different viewpoints on the best methods of histocompatibility testing. Some believe that testing will make a significant difference in graft transplant success; others believe that rejection will often happen outside of the doctor’s control. Credits: Robert E. Lordon. |
