Expedition 60-61 Crew Departs for Kazakh Launch Site Description: Expedition 60-61 Soyuz Commander Alexander Skvortsov of Roscosmos, NASA Flight Engineer Drew Morgan and Flight Engineer Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency and their backups, Sergey Ryzhikov of Roscosmos, Tom Marshburn of NASA and Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency participated in traditional ceremonies at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star City, Russia, outside Moscow on July 4. Afterward, they departed for the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to complete their training for the launch of Skvortsov, Morgan and Parmitano on July 20 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in the Soyuz MS-13 spacecraft for a long duration mission on the International Space Station.
