| Description | SPACE STATION CAMERAS PROVIDE NEW VIEWS OF HURRICANE DORIAN Cameras outside the International Space Station captured views at 9:48 a.m. Eastern time September 4 of Hurricane Dorian from 260 miles in altitude as it travelled in a direction parallel to the northeast coast of Florida. In its 10 a.m. EDT advisory, the National Hurricane Center said Dorian is moving toward the north-northwest near 8 miles per hour with a northwest or north-northwest motion expected through this morning. A turn toward the north is forecast by this evening, followed by a turn toward the north-northeast on Thursday morning. On this track, the core of Hurricane Dorian will move dangerously close to the Florida east coast and the Georgia coast through tonight. The center of Dorian, which is a category 2 hurricane, is forecast to move near or over the coast of South Carolina and North Carolina Thursday through Friday morning.
