Description Expedition 63 Space Station Crew Prepares for Launch as Soyuz Rolls to the Pad At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, Expedition 63 Soyuz Commander Anatoly Ivanishin of Roscosmos and Flight Engineers Ivan Vagner of Roscosmos and Chris Cassidy of NASA participated in final prelaunch training activities as the Soyuz MS-16 spacecraft that will launch them to the International Space Station was transported to the launch pad in Baikonur April 6. The crew’s backups, Sergei Ryzhikov and Andrei Babkin of Roscosmos and Steve Bowen of NASA, also participated in the training. Ivanishin, Vagner and Cassidy are preparing for launch April 9 for a six-month mission on the International Space Station. The footage includes the crew’s final Soyuz fit check activities on April 3 and the rollout of the Soyuz rocket to the launch pad in Baikonur on April 6 along with an interview conducted with Cassidy at the Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters on April 1.
