Description SPACE STATION COMMANDER DISCUSSES MISSION EVENTS WITH THE MEDIA Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 63 Commander Chris Cassidy of NASA discussed the progress of his mission on the orbital complex and the impending arrival of the first U.S. astronauts to launch on a commercial crew vehicle during a series of in-flight interviews May 21 with the Discovery Channel, CBS News and the Houston Chronicle. Cassidy, who is in the midst of a planned six-and-a-half month on the station, is preparing for the arrival of NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Robert Behnken, who are scheduled to launch May 27 from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft – the first launch of U.S. astronauts on an American rocket since the retirement of the space shuttle in July 2011.
