Description SPACE STATION CREW DISCUSSES LIFE IN SPACE WITH STUDENTS Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 63 Commander Chris Cassidy of NASA and NASA Flight Engineers Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley of NASA discussed life and work on the orbital laboratory in an in-flight education event June 19 as they answered pre-recorded questions from students representing Challenger Learning Centers. Cassidy is in the midst of a planned six-and-a-half month mission on the station, while Behnken and Hurley are completing their third week in orbit, having launched on the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft May 30 in the first launch of U.S. astronauts on an American spacecraft from American soil since the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011.
