| Description | SPACE STATION CREW MEMBER REMEMBERS HUBBLE AND TALKS STATION SCIENCE Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 65 Flight Engineer Megan McArthur of NASA discussed life and research on the orbital complex and her remembrances of the Hubble Space Telescope during an in-flight event May 27 with Elizabeth Tammi, the social media and outreach lead for the Hubble Space Telescope from the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. McArthur operated the space shuttle’s robotic arm during the final Hubble servicing mission – STS-125 – in May 2009. Twelve years later, McArthur flew to the station aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon “Endeavour” for a planned six-month mission. |
