Description ESA SPACE STATION ASTRONAUT DISCUSSES LIFE IN SPACE WITH EUROPEAN COMMISSION Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 65 Flight Engineer Thomas Pesquet of ESA (European Space Agency) discussed life and research aboard the orbital complex during an in-flight interview September 7 with the European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union. Pesquet launched in April on a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft for a planned six-month science mission, living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
