Summary

Description Aboard the International Space Station, the members of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-2 mission -- NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, Aki Hoshide of JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and Thomas Pesquet of ESA (European Space Agency) discussed their six-month long mission to the complex during an in-flight event November 5. Kimbrough, McArthur, Hoshide, and Pesquet will undock form the space station no earlier than November 7 following their mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
