Summary

In this video clip, Jan Hess, the president of Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, Alabama discusses the company’s contributions to NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. Teledyne engineers built the launch vehicle stage adapter at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Teledyne Brown Engineering delivered the adapter to NASA, and it was loaded on NASA’s Pegasus barge on July 17. The flight hardware will be used for Artemis I, the first mission of NASA’s Artemis lunar program. Pegasus will transport the hardware from Marshall to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where it will be integrated with other parts of the rocket and prepared for the first Artemis mission.
