| Description | The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched a new cargo vehicle, the HTV-X1, to the International Space Station on Oct. 25, U.S. time, atop an H3 rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan. Loaded with more than four tons of food and supplies for the Expedition 73 crew, HTV-X1 will arrive at the station on Oct. 29 where it will be robotically captured by the station’s Canadarm2 robot arm operated by JAXA astronaut Kimiya Yui and mechanically installed on the Earth-facing port of the Harmony module for a three-month stay.
