Summary

Description Expedition 64 Crew Launches to the International Space Station Expedition 64 Soyuz Commander Sergey Ryzhikov of Roscosmos and Flight Engineers Sergey Kud-Sverchkov of Roscosmos and Kate Rubins of NASA launched on the Russian Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft on Oct. 14 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to begin a three-hour journey to the International Space Station and the start of a six-month mission on the outpost. The footage contains the crew’s prelaunch activities that included their departure from their Cosmonaut Hotel crew quarters, their suit-up in the Cosmodrome’s Integration Facility, walk out to their crew bus and arrival at the launch pad to board their spacecraft.
