| Description | Learn about eligibility requirements for Medi-Cal, Medicare and Covered California This program is led by health access attorneys from Bay Area Legal Aid’s Health Consumer Center. The Health Consumer Center runs a free legal advice line from Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm for residents of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Sonoma counties. The Health Consumer Center line can be reached at 855-693-7285. The Bay Area Legal Aid website is www.baylegal.org. Residents in other California counties outside the Bay Area can call the Health Consumer Alliance (HCA) at 888-804-3536 to be redirected to local agencies who can provide assistance regarding health access related matter in their counties. |
