Description
English: Kennedy Space Center's director and NASA Astronaut Kay Hire went back to school last week, to share with students the nation's vision for space exploration. 'We're actually here on a bit of a recruiting duty, if you will, and the reason is, if we had it all figured out, we'd already be there. We don't have it all figured out. We need new technology that does not exist today.' KSC Center Director Jim Kennedy spoke to the students of Stewart Middle Magnet School in Tampa on why he had made the trip. 'I think we came here to inspire the youth of your class, of your school, I want you to know that the youth of your school has inspired me.' Kennedy and Hire spent the day discussing the students' role in the future of NASA, and how each one of them could be a part of the vision.
