| Description | A brand new engined first stage Antares rocket has took flight for the first time since a failure in 2014 by Orbital ATK. The Antares 230 rocket lifted off from Pad 0A of Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia at 23:45 UTC, October 17th 2016 carrying the unmanned Cygnus OA-5 spacecraft full of 4,870 kg (10,740 lb) of cargo headed to the International Space Station. Cygnus will arrive at the orbiting complex on Sunday 23rd. |
