Summary
| Description | (Critical) This program presents the Cleveland Clinic technique of thyroid lobectomy and a running commentary by Drs. Herman and Crile on technique and management of thyroid disease. The demonstration is well done although the indication of the landmarks for cervical incision could be more precise and the description of anatomical relationship could be improved. The viewer should realize that treatment of thyroid nodules by needle aspiration and cytology analysis is not universally accepted. With these precautions, the program is recommended for surgeons and surgical residents. Credits: Robert E. Hermann. |
