It presents some techniques useful in vivo and reviews their application, limitations, and value in disorders of the motor unit. The program discusses innovative developments in this area during recent years and reviews the theoretical basis behind various standard clinical EMG techniques. Electromyography has proven to be an important tool in diagnosing various neuromuscular diseases. This process has made medical diagnosis an easier, more streamlined process for both doctor and patient. Analysis of different responses to electromyography can give insightful information as to what the patient is experiencing.
