Summary
On October 13, 2020, NASA and international partners signed the Artemis Accords agreements for international participation in the agency’s Artemis program, during a virtual meeting of the International Astronautical Congress. While NASA is leading the Artemis program, international partnerships will play a key role in achieving a sustainable and robust presence on the Moon while preparing to conduct a historic human mission to Mars.
