NASA’s SpaceX Crew-4 flight will carry NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, mission commander, Bob Hines, pilot, and Jessica Watkins mission specialist and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, also a mission specialist, will participate in a virtual media event at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30 a.m. EDT, in advance of their mission to the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Launch is currently targeted for 5:26 a.m. EDT Saturday, April 23. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, named Freedom by the Crew-4 astronauts, will launch on a Falcon 9 rocket from historic Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
