| Description | The 2021 NASA astronaut class known as “The Flies” graduated from their astronaut candidate status to becoming astronauts on March 5, 2024 during a ceremony at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. After the ceremony, students and media engaged with The Flies in a question and answer session to hear more about their training experience and anticipation for missions to the International Space Station, commercial destinations, and the Moon through NASA’s Artemis missions.
