| Description | B-roll for media use. During COVID-19, NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter team has been getting creative with web meetings from home. Footage includes an April 2020 meeting where Vaneeza Rupani, the 11th grader who named the helicopter, announcing the name Ingenuity to the team and a July 2020 meeting discussing launch preparations from Florida's Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. NASA’s Ingenuity helicopter is flying with NASA's Mars 2020 Perseverance rover. Ingenuity will attempt to show controlled flight is possible in the very thin Martian atmosphere. The rover and the helicopter are currently on their journey to the Red Planet, landing on Feb. 18, 2021.
