Summary
| Description | Pilot Stuart Broce flies up to 70,000 Feet in a NASA ER-2 aircraft. These flights are to collect atmospheric data for NASA’s airborne scientific studies. One of these flights supports NASA’s Studies of Emissions and Atmospheric Composition, Clouds and Climate Coupling by Regional Surveys, or SEAC4RS mission to gather data. The ER-2 carries scientific instruments higher in the upper region of the troposphere than most other aircraft, collecting data that is almost like what is seen by satellites. |
