Summary

NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikayev launched on the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft atop a Soyuz 2.1a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Nov. 27. Following a two-orbit rendezvous, the trio docked to the Rassvet module of the International Space Station will begin their eight-month mission aboard the orbital outpost.
