Summary
| Description | In this 1975 lecture by William E. J. McKinney, temperature control components both intrinsic and extrinisic to the radiographic processor are discussed as well as their functions and problems. This includes special emphasis on the heat exchanger, the thermostatic mixing valve, water supply problems, and calibration of thermometers. The components are described and illustrated by use of diagrams, photographs, and film footage. (Critical) This program presents temperature control components in and out of the processor as well as their problems and functions. Although the presentation is generally well done, subjects are not thoroughly covered and the speaker tends to skip from one subject to another very quickly. Thus, the program is recommended with reservations for radiologic technology students. Credits: Thomas T. Thompson, Cynthia C. Kirby, William E. J. McKinney. |
