| Description | Leading a healthy, productive life is advocated in this film. The rules to follow are: good mental habits, contented mind, proper reading and entertainment, Sunday school, and church. Children are shown reading and playing, listening to a radio, going into church. Bodily cleanliness and fresh air and sleep are advised; a girl is shown washing her face and neck, then raising her window before retiring. Children should wear comfortable clothing and get plenty of exercise. Girls are seen playing tennis, roller skating, playing with a ball, swimming, and walking on the beach. Good posture is advised and demonstrated by girls in bathing suits. The need for sunlight is stressed and children are shown playing on a sunny beach. The children are advised to cross streets carefully and respect policemen. The duties of the health department are outlined.
