Summary
| Description | (Critical) This program presents the various needles used for venous cannulation and demonstrates the method of insertion. The differences in the needles used for venous cannulation are compared, including the advantages and disadvantages of each. Although the presentation is generally well done, some deficiencies exist, such as no demonstration of the method of insertion of the different needles, little discussion of the methods used, and poor techniques are used. Thus, the program is recommended with reservations for those involved in emergency health services. Credits: Mark Kettler, Robert Balfour, Diana Massucco. |
