Summary

Description
English: This event serves as the capstone lecture for Nathan Dorn’s Kluge Staff Fellowship. This presentation follows the differences of opinion among Scribonius’ supporters as well as his detractors in order to highlight the way learned men of that time worked out the interplay of folk belief, natural philosophy, demonology and law in what was a brief, but revealing, chapter in the history of the laws of evidence.
