Summary
| Description | How can we grow a culture of kindness in the Wikimedia movement? Participating on Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects can be a frustrating experience for new and experienced users alike, because many of our members lack civility. To address these issues, Fabrice Florin gave a talk at Wikimania 2014 in London on August 10, 2014. In this half-hour presentation, he proposes a number of ideas to improve communications in the Wikimedia movement: help newbies, train editors, reward kindness, build more social tools, use friendlier channels, and give everyone a voice.
