Summary
| Description | Gas sampling and a spirometer for recording is displayed with control of respiration as suggested by Guedel. A patient is in prone position for pulmonary lobectomy. Second plane of anesthesia in 30 seconds time, then a monometer is substituted for the rebreathing bag to demonstrate the use of positive pressure and the spirometer for the measurement of tidal exchange.
