Summary

Description (Critical) This program presents an intraoperative record of mandibular exodontia and alveoloplasty of the alveolar ridge and gingiva. A portrayal of problems in removing mandibular remaining teeth and adequately preparing the remaining alveolar ridge for prosthetic rehabilitation is included. A discussion of the mucoperiosteal flap design is also included. Although lengthy, the program is logically presented and is recommended for dentistry and oral surgery students. Credits: James R.
