| Description | Kicking off a new vision starts with taking a look at what you've got, and that's exactly why Admiral Craig Steidle came to the Kennedy Space Center. Steidle, who retired from the Navy four years ago, was asked to head NASA's new Office of Exploration Systems. That makes him the man in charge of figuring out the best way to send America back to the Moon and eventually beyond. Admiral Steidle took a tour of the Kennedy Space Center to see what the facility had to offer for NASA's bold new vision. 'This is certainly the operations center of the future, it also is the center around which we will develop those technologies for life cycle support of our systems and our infrastructures in the future.' Steidle toured the Orbiter Processing Facility, the Space Station Processing Facility, and discussed the future of Kennedy Space Center with KSC Director Jim Kennedy.
