| Description | After completing a five-and-a-half-month mission to the International Space Station, NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11 discussed their science mission during a news conference Jan. 21 at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. During the news conference, NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke as well as JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov answered media questions about their mission and return to Earth. The quartet returned back to Earth aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft Jan. 15. Crew 11’s mission was a long-duration mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory in order to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration flights as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
