Summary
| Description | (Critical) This program presents a relatively simple surgical method for removing the pineal gland. An opening is drilled through the top of the skull and the gland is removed with small, curved forceps. Although the diagrammatic illustration is helpful, the pineal gland is not easily seen in the bloody field. Even so, this is a well illustrated and acceptable educational resource for those who are interested in pinealectomy. Credits: Russel J. Reiter. |
