Summary

Description Credits: Elias G. Theros. Dr. Elias G. Theros gives a lecture on pseudotumors of the lung, which may be mistaken for neoplasms but are benign and also quite rare. One notable trait of these masses is that some of them can grow, unlike organizations post-inflammatory lesions that get smaller as they organize and become fibrous. Dr. Theros presents several examples of pseudotumors in a lengthy slideshow which includes x-rays, photographs of tissue, and microscopic slides. As the lecture continues, pictures of actual carcinomas are shown, the similarities and differences between them and pseudotumors pointed out.
