Summary

Description (Critical) This program presents three case reports with discussion of the surgical technique for removing cerebellopontine angle masses. A congenital cholesteatoma, an arachnoid cyst and a meningioma are presented. A short summary of incidence is given. The preoperative test battery includes only audiometry and posterior fossa contrast myelography. The omission of computerized cranial tomography, arteriography, and pneumoencephalography outdates the program. Credits: William F. House, William E. Hitselberger.
