Summary
| Description | (Critical) This program demonstrates the intricacies of wax manipulation and the technique for developing the anatomical and functional form of the lingual cusp of the maxillary first premolar. The presentation is well organized and logical in sequence. However, a lack of emphasis on ridge and groove direction, presentation of a static intercuspal approach and the absence of coordinating of the dynamic functional form with mandibular movements detracts from the program's overall effectiveness. Nevertheless, the presentation is effective and recommended for beginning students in prosthodontics and dental technicians. Credits: James W. Buckman. |
