Summary
| Description | The only surviving visual element from the sound reissue of The Phantom of the Opera, discovered in 2013 in the Library of Congress archives, features newly made footage of Mary Philbin, Norman Kerry (reprising their roles of Christine and Raoul) and singer Mary Fabian as Carlotta combined with silent footage of the original film showing Arthur Edmund Carewe as Ledoux and Lon Chaney as The Phantom, whose character is voiced by a messenger seen in the new footage. |
