| Description | This presentation was given to mark the 50th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Dr. Roger O. Egeberg spoke about his experiences during World War II as personal physician to General Douglas MacArthur. He provided a brief biography of General MacArthur, and then went on to describe the battle of New Guinea, his responsibilities as surgeon of the command, and his contributions to the concept of a mobile army surgical hospital (MASH).
