Summary

Description In this 1977 lecture, Dr. Gerald D. Dodd discusses gastric ulceration. In his opinion, this topic has been covered extensively throughout medical literature, but not all of the widely held beliefs are correct. Dr. Dodd seeks to dispel some of these misconceptions and clarify correct methods for diagnosing ulcers, particularly whether they are malignant or benign. This is accomplished with a lengthy slideshow of patients' inner organs that compares different types of imagery, pointing out how they can sometimes be misleading. Credits: Gerald D. Dodd.
